Our Philosophy

We strive to contribute to the success of our commercial partners and the health of our customers through the development of new sea vegetable products.

We here at Kaneryo Kaiso have, since our founding in 1954, worked continuously in the sea vegetable industry.

We have since grown to be a comprehensive producer of sea vegetable products and are involved in all production steps: from basic research to product development, production, and sales. We are the top producer in Japan of colored sea vegetables, popular examples of which are ogo-nori and tosaka-nori.

There still remain many undiscovered health benefits and uses for sea vegetable. Our mission as such is to uncover the untapped possibilities of sea vegetable and succeed as one of the world's few Sea vegetable Specialists.

Through our tireless development of new sea vegetable products, both for food and non-food applications, we hope to contribute to the success of our commercial partners and the health of our customers.
